Dress hand-embroidered by a community of women living in a small village in the State of Puebla, Mexico. Expert weavers who combine the care of their families with the elaboration of these dresses, thus promoting the preservation of their culture and traditions.

  • Handmade embroidery according to the weaver's inspiration, so the colours of the threads may vary from one to another.

My Nawal is committed to ethical and sustainable fashion, without intermediaries, to guarantee fair trade where workers' rights are respected. We employ indigenous communities in Guatemala and Mexico whom we know personally. Our products are made using rudimentary techniques and in many cases natural dyes, thus reducing the impact on the environment. Our aim is to promote employment in communities in remote areas, helping them to improve their quality of life and at the same time preserving their textile culture and the use of their traditional techniques.


Washing instructions
  • Our recommendation is to wash them by hand with cold water for better preservation of embroidery.
  • They can be washed in the washing machine in delicate program with cold water but the embroidery will be worse preserved.
  • Our fabrics do not fade or shrink. The 100% cotton blanket is pre-washed. 
  • Iron normally at medium temperature.
